We promote capacity building and knowledge transfer to foster the advancement of science and the progress of society

In 2025 IHCantabria reaffirmed its commitment to knowledge transfer and capacity building, consolidating its position as a reference in the international scientific community. Our staff has actively participated in more than 39 events and conferences, sharing advances and findings that enrich academic dialogue and foster innovation.

In total, more than 90 members of our team have participated in scientific congresses, events and conferences, highlighting the quality of our research and our contribution to addressing global environmental challenges.

We have also fostered collaboration by strengthening strategic alliances and within the framework of technology transfer projects, enhancing our impact capacity. These initiatives have strengthened our professional networks.

Our agenda throughout 2025 has also fostered scientific vocations. Throughout the year, we welcomed more than 1,439 people from 43 educational centers and institutions to our facilities, giving them the opportunity to participate in scientific outreach and field-based  activities. With talks and workshops, we inspire future generations of researchers, promoting enthusiasm for science and sustainability.

These actions underscore our commitment to advancing science, technology transfer and building a sustainable future through knowledge and global collaboration.
